Other Continents
"From across the seas"

ABOUT LAVARR
To the west of Avalance, you will find the shores of Lavarr. A continent over three times of Avalance, making the land immense and vast. The vegetation consists of graminaceous plants and herbs that can be up to two metres tall. The wide landscapes are home to large herbivores, which often migrate far away in search of new pastures. Because of the lack of hiding places and the need to migrate, many have adjusted to running and have extremely sharp senses.

The people of Lavarr seem to have adjusted in the same way. They often have a tall, yet slim body shape and a lightly tanned skin. These people are known to be proud of their heritage, seeing their land as that of the original birthplace of kings, claiming that it was from their harbours where the first men of Avalance set sail.

KNOWN CITIES IN LAVARR

Ehai
A northern harbor city which often trades with Fairview and Wineport. Exporting spices and dried fruits to the harboring cities. Living in this city means hard work, every citizen has to work in order to live here, which results in many illegal citizens and refugees smuggling themselves through to get on a ship that sets sail to Avalance.

Tirohyn
Trading almost directly with the king of Avalance himself, this golden city has set up an great effort to ensure their trader route stays in tact. Known as one of the richest cities on the continent, Tirohyn holds power and is not willing to give it up. In this city, no one seems to be low on coin. Immigrants are uncommon here, as it is a harsh community to enter.

Monthiad
Laying near the Ruby sea and close to a mine, allows this city to rule the market when it comes to gemstones, ores and timber. Monthiad trades with Riverhold, Fairview and Wineport. Monthiad is your typical harbor city: hardworking and never resting.

Nirax
Hidden against the shoreline of Lavarr, lies Nirax, set up by pirates and ruled by those who killed the most. This is currently the only city trading with Kraken’s Lair. They trade in weapons and women. Nirax is known for its bar fights and their bloody endings. None who came from this city are particular welcome in Avalance, but that has never stopped anyone.

ABOUT YAX'IN
To the far south of the shores of Ashax, beyond the Sea of the Serpent, lies the continent of Yax'in. Unlike Lavarr, of which much is known to the people of Avalance, Yax'in is still shrouded in mystery. What exactly lies beyond the Bay of Serpents is only known by the people that live there. There are two ports at the bay, Altzin and Qecera, which both trade luxury goods and other resources with traders from Sunfall, but the people here reveal little about what lies beyond. Trying to get deeper into the mainland has proven harder than expected, mostly because just behind the coastline lies a vast and dense rainforest, also called the Poison Jungle because of the many poisonous plants and animals that live there. Among the traded goods are cacao, various poisons and medicinal herbs, jadeite, colourful feathers, sugar, and many other things.

The people of Yax'in are mostly of a tanned or dark colour, which shields them from the burning sun. Aside from the common language that is known in Avalance, they have a wide array of languages only used in the rainforest. They are very secretive about their home, meaning there must be more than just trees and flowers hidden within the jungle.

CITIES IN THE YAX'IN

Altzin
Altzin is the westernmost harbour town on the Bay of Serpents and the wealthiest of the two. The town rivals Asherah in its colours, especially because of the white beaches and blue waters. The people here are somewhat extravagant and open to trade, but are still hesitant when it comes to strangers, preferring to know the people before exchanging with them.

Qecera
West on the Bay of Serpents lies another harbour town, which is a little smaller than Altzin, but nevertheless still important. This is also reflected in its people, because they are a little more sheltered and do not really like strangers. The established trades with Sunfall thus are very important, because they have already won their trust.
