Ophelia's appearance is in stark contrast to your average Vigneron. She is a tall, slender woman with dark hair and eyes. She inherited her looks from her mother, who shares her somewhat exotic appearance. Although she is a noblewoman with plenty of access to quality food, Ophelia oftentimes has trouble with gaining weight. Her expensive gowns tend to hide her underweight body rather well, however. She also has some severe scarring on her wrists from an encounter with Avanti. She makes sure to cover these up with dress sleeves, which isn't very difficult to do up North.
Overall, Ophelia carries herself like a true lady. She makes sure she's always prim and proper, dressed to the nines, and tries her best to come across as a polite young woman. When faced with conflict, she tends to withdraw more, making herself physically smaller as to not come across as a threat.

If you think 'northerner', Ophelia isn't exactly the first person to come to mind. She shares almost no qualities with the hardy people of the Highlands, but she counts herself among them nonetheless. Ophelia is an optimist in heart and soul, always trying to see the best in others even if it isn't there. She tries to follow in her father's footsteps when it comes to becoming a good lady to her people, but oftentimes finds herself in doubt of her skill to do so. Although she seems to have inherited her father's intelligence and kindness, she greatly lacks his assertiveness.
Some would describe her as emotional, whereas others may call her weak. Ophelia can easily get caught up in emotions, whether it be her own or others. She has great sympathy for the suffering of others, although this also opens her up to manipulation. In the end, she simply follows the philosophy of ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you’. However, sometimes this worldview of hers turns out to be a little too optimistic. Ophelia is well aware of her strengths and weaknesses, and is trying her hardest to play into them as well as she can.

This place is for a description of their family. What is their relationship with their family members? What is the family history? Everything you can think of!

Ophelia was born as the first and only daughter of Loran Vigneron and his wife. Her parents were very much in love and she was surrounded by a caring family for the first few years of her life. Ophelia was loved tremendously, and grew up as a kind, optimistic young girl. Due to her father belonging to House Vigneron, and owning a fair share of brothels as well, Ophelia had money in abundance growing up. She grew up quite privileged, her family kept her safe within the city walls and she was never short of anything she wanted. Ophelia developed quite an expensive taste, always strutting around the city in the most expensive garments and jewelry.
On one of her parents' anniversaries, they decided to go away on a trip to celebrate. Ophelia stayed behind in Wineport, preferring the safety of the city over exploring the outside world. Upon his return her father, severely wounded, informed her that her mother had been killed by robbers. Ophelia was heartbroken and grew even more anxious of the dangerous world outside the walls of the city. Her father took off, hardly ever visiting his home anymore, leaving the care of his only daughter to his remaining family. Ophelia often confided in her grandmother, who eventually reached out to Loran, scolding him for not spending enough time with her. To her surprise, it worked, and her father once again returned home.
A few years passed, and Ophelia's uncle, aunt, and cousin were poisoned. The Lord of Wineport and his heir were suddenly gone, and Loran was next in line. Vicious rumors started to spread. People reacted in disbelief; of course the Imp wouldn't become the new High Lord. Against all odds, Loran got backed by the King himself and took up his new responsibility as Lord of Wineport, causing Ophelia to become the new heiress to the city.
Her father started taking her on his travels, forcing her to step out of her comfort zone. He showed her the various brothels he owned and Ophelia started to understand how the lowborn people lived, as well as how to successfully run a business. She grew more compassionate, but also learnt how to stand up for herself. Nonetheless, she is still the kind-hearted optimist she was at the start.
