There was nothing like the thought of going out camping. Yet, now that she actually had, she realized that it had been a bad idea. More than ever, her mind was a mess and now her body was too.
The bandage around her chest definitely did not add to her charm. The way she moved and sat felt like a damn sack of potatoes and it hurt like crazy still. Yet, that was not going to stop her from heading out. Soon, she would be heading to the Glade for the tourney. There was no way some wounds were going to stop her from doing so. Today, however, was a day of rest.
Her falcon flew through the air in quiet circles, while she had taken a seat on a fallen log, her horse tied to a tree a few meters away from her. The wind was cold, but the sun managed to warm her up, even if it was just the tiniest bit.
When the falcon landed on the log next to her, it hopped around a little bit, before it looked straight at her. The girl smiled back at it, as if the falcon would have any idea what she meant with that smile. “Already done hunting, Maple? ” she chuckled, softly shaking her head. As if the bird actually knew what she meant, it spread its wings again before taking off once more, only to circle around the exact same way it had before.
