Don't risk it all for a taste, what a waste a waste
Today was the day. The entirety of Wineport was, once again, covered in flowers of all colors to celebrate a new union. The castle gardens were opened and many Lords and Ladies, as well as all the people who worked for House Vigneron were invited to join in the celebrations. Bars and taverns in all of Wineport celebrated by themselves, filled to the brim with those who didn’t join the festivities in the castle itself.

And while everyone was cheerful, Delsin felt nerves deep in his stomach. He was dressed in a proper dark suit with a purple vest and tie underneath a black jacket to represent the colors of his house, and while his hair was neatly done mere minutes ago, he had turned it into a proper mess by pulling his hand through it on multiple occasions. He hadn’t had the chance to see Enya yet today, which only made him more nervous. He knew this wasn’t something either of them had chosen to do, but instead a commitment they owed to their families. And yet, it was such a big day. For not only would they commit to a future together, today was the day he would embrace his heritage. Together with Enya, he would rule the Evergreen as the High Lord - a title he still could not believe was his.

The small dragon, Seraph, sat on his shoulder, her tail wrapped around and falling down his other shoulder. She was not used to crowds yet, but Delsin was sure that she would behave to the best of her ability. Today, the world would know that House Vigneron was blessed not only by having their heir return to them, but by a Dragon. As the entire ceremony would be in honor of the dragons that had shaped the world, so would it be in honor of those who had saved their world and would do so for times to come. Sunchaser and now Seraphina.

When the time arrived, Delsin walked through the castle, smiling at those he encountered on his way. As soon as he opened the door to the garden, he was pleasantly surprised. As the wedding found place during the night, to truly show Aster’s light, the night sky had fallen over them. Darkness should be in these gardens, but the torches made sure everyone could see. The path he would take, through the two groups of seats, where both strangers and familiar faces had gathered, was lit by candles. He walked his way through, hearing gasps as people laid eyes upon the dragon that decorated his shoulder. They were here together. While his parents could not be here with him, they would see through Seraphina. As she was sent by the Gods themselves, a blessing for their future.

And there he stood. Torches stood in a line behind him as he faced the people, waiting for his wife-to-be to walk through that same door. He bit his lip, keeping himself from pulling his hand through his hair as he stared off into the distance. He knew this was nothing but a formality. He had to tell it to himself over and over again. How he shouldn’t make this bigger than it already was. But… This was a promise for life - a promise he intended to keep. This was the start of a whole new life for the both of them, even if it was a life that was forced upon them.

And so the binding is made Empty Re: And so the binding is made

In all silence, Enya found herself gazing into a mirror. Her hand carefully graced the perfectly fitting dress, lowering down from the beautifully golden decorated top to the black fabric underneath. The golden accents perfectly representing her family’s colors, as was tradition. Who would’ve thought she’d ever get married like this. Not her. Her gaze shortly focused in on the golden crown on her head. A family heirloom, one many generations of women wore before her on their wedding day. And today it was her time to wear it, to bring pride to her family. For a few moments longer she stood there, taking herself in, but most importantly, trying to contain the nervousness fluttering in her belly. It was time.

Wandering the halls of the Vigneron castle did not quite settle her nervousness. To think that after this ceremony, this all would be hers as well, it was a strange and frightening thought. The woman halted in front of the grand doors leading to the garden. Her muscles tensing up as the nerves got the best of her, deeply inhaling and exhaling, trying to collect all the emotions suddenly washing over her. This was it. This was the point where she would be making a commitment to someone for the rest of her life - and Enya never made light promises. Forever and always really did mean forever and always to her. The idea terrified her to her core, but as she nodded for the guard to open the door, the woman was confident she could do this. That no matter how frightened she was to make this commitment for life, she would fight for their future together.

A million stars twinkled in the skies above her, as she walked down the path warmly lighted by candles. In the crowd to her left and right, she found both familiar and unfamiliar faces. All of them gathered here to witness the promise Delsin and her would make to one another this night. And although her parents weren’t there to witness this moment, she knew they would be looking down upon her through Aster’s light. A soft smile graced her lips as her eyes locked with those of her soon-to-be husband, and all of the sudden all her nerves and doubts disappeared like snow before the sun. They could do this.

Graciously, she bowed to the Dragon Priest, before turning to Delsin, smiling brighter as she noticed the dragon on his shoulder. Seraphina’s presence was a blessing to their future. A promise of the gods. And perhaps the gods would finally be looking down upon her and smile. Forgive her for all her wrong-doing, allow her a new start with no-one else than the man standing in front of her right now. Enya could truly call herself lucky in that moment, for she couldn’t think of anyone better than him. Delsin had been nothing but kind to her, he’d made her laugh in times where she didn’t feel like laughing, and although they only knew each other for such a short period of time, Enya hoped their future was a bright one.

With that thought in mind, she turned her attention towards the torches they were supposed to lit the bonfire with. In doing so, they would be seeking out Aster's blessing in this new union between their houses. Quickly, she glanced over to Delsin. She was ready for their new life, was he?

Don't risk it all for a taste, what a waste a waste
Of course he knew it was silly, but how could his heart not jump a beat when he saw her approach? Enya looked absolutely magnificent. Her beauty was magnified by the candle-lit environment, her golden dress sparkling as she took her place. The moment she smiled, he could feel a smile form on his own lips as well. He didn’t know her that well yet - there were still so many layers to be revealed for both of them. But together, they would strip these layers away. To find a future in truth and promise, starting tonight.

Delsin remembered the days where he would have laughed at the idea of him ever getting married. It held no meaning, he had always said. But as he stood here, looking at her before his gaze moved to the priest, he knew nothing was less true. This promise - this vow - that he was going to make tonight, was something he would try his best to live by. Because tonight was going to be the start of something new and with Seraphina watching over them, he knew that this promise was not only made to himself. Not even just to her. This promise was made to the Gods.

He had always felt cursed in life, a boy who was given away by his parents. As the truth about his heritage had been revealed, he had slowly started to realize that he was born blessed, but cursed by the greed of those who were blinded by vanity. His life destroyed, and yet he had managed to find his way back. Maybe it hadn’t been such a coincidence that he had run into Enya that time in Wineport. After all, had their conversation not been influenced by the egg? Maybe Seraphina had been there, guiding him to find someone to stand by his side, as she would. He believed that Enya was put in his path for a reason and he would stand by her side for as long as the Gods would see fit.

Lady Enya and Lord Delsin, today you are surrounded by all who wish to share the joy of this occasion, gathered to witness your exchange of vows. Let this be a statement of the commitment that you will make,’ the priest started. Delsin looked back at Enya, nodding at her before a smile pulled at his lips. He didn’t want to show her any doubt. He was sure of this. She deserved to know that. ‘Most of us demand each other to love in exactly the same way, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse. We have so little faith in the balance and flow of life. We insist on permanency, on duration, on continuity, when the only continuity possible, in life as in love, is in growth,’ the man continued. ‘Today, you will promise to look forward. To live in the here and now together and let today be a new beginning.

The promises made today and the ties that are bound here greatly strengthen your union and will cross the years and lives of each soul’s growth. Please, take each other’s hand,’ the man instructed. Delsin could feel his smile widen as he held out his hand to Enya. It was time to make their promises.

And so the binding is made Empty Re: And so the binding is made

on Sun 17 May 2020, 21:00
Enya had never been a believer in fate. She always assumed that her life was not set in stone, and that a ‘greater power’ beyond themselves was never present. The woman had always grabbed her own fate with two hungry hands, pulling and pushing and molding her own life. All her achievements, her triumphs and her downfalls, they all happened because of her own actions, not because of some god planning them for her. Surely, she had been very confident on that being the truth.

However, as she walked down the candle-lit path, the woman doubted all of that confidence. The question whether or not meeting Delsin that day in Wineport happened for a reason lingered in her mind. What if their first meeting would have been in Dragonwatch instead, with the knowledge they would soon get married to one another? Enya surely would not have felt as sure of him as she did right now. She would have doubted everything he was, all he stood for and anything he told her. Simply because there would always be that part of her thinking he was just nice to her because of who she was - an Aldyr.

No, if it wasn’t for that first meeting, she wouldn’t be smiling at him so genuinely as she joined him in front of the priest. As the priest welcomed everyone, her gaze didn't leave him. With that same confidence shimmering through her eyes, she slowly nodded back. Let today be a new beginning. Her lips twisted up a little more at that thought, perhaps that was what the both of them needed. Perhaps that was the reason she’d so quickly let some of her guard down with this man. Their past had haunted them, and perhaps from now on, they could look to the future instead.

Gently, she took his hand in hers. ”Lady Enya,” As the priest addressed her name, their eye-contact was broken. ”will you share in Lord Delsin’s pain and seek to alleviate it? Will you share in his laughter and look for the brightness and the positive in him? Will you share in his burdens, so that your spirits may grow in this union? Will you share in his dreams and work with him to fulfill them? Will you take the heat of anger and use it to temper the strength of this union? Will you honor him as an equal in this union?” Her focus was drawn back to Delsin, as she spoke the following two words after every question: ”I will.” Her smile grew every time the words left her lips.

I will. It was a commitment. A promise. One they both made. And with every promise, the cords were knotted together around their hands, symbolizing the binding of their two souls.

To share in another’s pain and seeking to alleviate it was a promise Delsin never thought to make in his life. He had always been the one to say he fought only for himself, yet he would help out anyone close to him. Time and time again. Now, no one stood closer to him than Enya, who would be his wife in mere moments. The cords were knotted around their hands after this promise.

Would they share in laughter and the brightness and the positivity? Would their spirits grow in union as they shared their burdens? To share burdens of the past was something he was not fond of doing, but he made the promise with those two simple words. He needed to, just like she needed to. For their past had made them into who they were now. It would explain who they were going to be in the future and that was so much more important than people realized.

I will,” he repeated one more time, as the last promise was asked of him. She would be his equal - they would do this together. ‘And so the binding is made,’ the priest spoke, as the final knot was made. ‘As your hands are bound together now, so your lives and spirits are joined in a union of trust. The bond of marriage is not formed by these cords, but rather by the vows you have made. For always you hold in your own hands the fate of this union.’ The priest nodded, which was the sign he was waiting for. He looked at Enya, nodding at her before pulling his hand away. The cord pulled into a perfect knot, which symbolized their union. While Delsin believed that the Gods had brought her upon his path, it was up to him to make sure she would want to stick on it. But looking at her right now… maybe that would be easier to accomplish than he had anticipated.

And as you are bound together, so too will your families. May Aster’s light bless this marriage,’ the man continued, taking the knot from them before he grabbed two torches from behind him. He held them their way, so they could each take one. ‘May you remain gentle and tender as you nurture each other. May you build a relationship founded in love, and rich in caring. May you be healer, protector, shelter and guide for each other.

The knots were tied, one after another. A symbol of their union, of the bond they would make this very night. From this day onward, it was up to them to hold true to their vows. To share in each other's pain, laughter, burdens and dreams. It was not going to be easy to rely on another person, to trust someone else but herself with all her pain and her burdens, but she would give it her best try. And although the woman knew there were parts of her she could never share, with anyone, she would work towards sharing at least some pieces of herself. Maybe not those of the past, but certainly those of the future.

And so, the binding was made. Enya looked up from their hands back to Delsin, before pulling her hand away and towards her stomach, pulling the cords into one perfect knot. Tying the knot wasn’t only meant for them, it was an union made between two families. Between hers, and between his. Their family’s alliance would strengthen today, and as she quickly glanced over to her family, Enya knew it was a sacrifice worth making. Her family needed an alliance this strong, especially now that their reign over the land was weakened by the disappearance of Sunchaser. But they would triumph, the gods would smile down upon them again. She was sure of that.

After taking the torch from the priest’s hand, she made her way to the perfectly stacked pile of wood. Before she lowered the torch onto the wood, she looked back at Delsin, softly nodding to confirm she was ready to light the bonfire. And as the flames curled around the wood, the orange lighting reflecting in her blue gaze, a somewhat relieved smile appeared on her lips. Aster blessed their marriage. And in that, she knew her father did too.

With the bonfire casting a magnificent, warm light over the scenery, she made her way back in front of the priest. ”Now that Aster’s light shines upon us, I will ask you to seal the vows you share with each other by the giving and receiving of the rings.” The priest started, holding up the two rings. ”The perfect circle of the ring symbolizes eternity. The precious metal came from the ground as a rough ore and was heated and purified, shaped and polished. Something beautiful was made from raw elements. Love is like that. It comes from humble beginnings, made by imperfect beings. It is the process of making something beautiful where there was once nothing at all.” The priest continued, after which one of the two rings was handed to her.

Gently she took Delsin’s hand. ”I promise on this day to share your pain, your joy, your burdens and your dreams, and to help you navigate the maze of life together as our love grows with us.” She repeated after the priest, letting the words slowly but surely roll over her tongue, without hesitation. This promise she made, it was not a light one, it was one she made for life. Her eyes only broke contact as she gently pushed the ring onto his finger. Smiling at how perfectly it fitted, before meeting his eyes again. A new start, perhaps the both of them deserved it. And perhaps one day, she would truly grow to love him.

Don't risk it all for a taste, what a waste a waste
The parts of society he had grown up in, the parts where material value was hardly a thing, people married for love. They would find someone who didn’t own shit, just someone who they could love and cherish. Someone who they wanted to raise a family with. For someone like he was now, for someone who had to look over these people, that wasn’t an option. He needed to marry someone who would be a strong ally in times to come.

But it wasn’t just that. He didn’t look at Enya with the thought that she was a means to an end. He didn’t know her well enough to say that there was love involved, but he didn’t think it to be impossible when it came to her. Today, they would not make a promise of love. Today, they made a promise of trust. They would trust each other to set their best foot forward. While the future was unknown, there was nothing that would keep him from making it to the best of his ability.

He nodded back at her, walking up to the firewood. He took a deep breath in as he looked down at it. The knot between them had been tied, but now their families would be allied too. Slowly, he moved the torch towards the fire, watching the flames move as they had did on the night Seraphina was born. The fire symbolized the light of Aster blessing this union, which was only another sign on top of everything he had already seen. He believed that this all had happened for a reason. Maybe this was why Kaz had suddenly decided to tell Rayan. Maybe this was why he had to suffer all those years. So Seraphina and Enya could end up on his path.

After making their way back to the priest, they were asked to seal the vows by giving each other the rings. The man spoke of how love came from humble beginnings, causing the corner of his mouth to pull up. He had to keep himself from laughing as he remembered their humble beginning. They could do this. He listened to her words on sharing pain, joy, burdens and dreams. She would help him navigate life together as their love grew with them. His smile softened as he watched her put the ring on his hand.

He took the ring from the priest and gently took Enya’s hand in his, squeezing it softly as he looked at her. “Today, I take my place by your side as your husband. May our days be long and may they be seasoned with faith, understanding and respect. Today is the beginning of the rest of our lives,” he started, gently pushing the ring onto her finger. “I get to be there for you and support you. I don’t have to spend today and all of my tomorrows with you. I get to.” Their promise might not start out of love, but he believed that they held the possibility of letting it grow into something beautiful. As nothing was more sacred than a bond of trust.

The flames of the bonfire danced in the wind, casting a warm glow over the scenery. It was Aster’s light that now shined upon them, the blessing of their marriage by the almighty god. Enya could find herself gazing into those orange flames for a moment, a relieved smile on her lips. Not because she considered Aster’s blessing as an important factor, no, it was her father’s blessing she was after. He was here too, his blessing shining through those same flames.

As the priest started again, her attention was focused on Delsin once more. She noticed the corners of his lips turning up at the mention of 'humble beginnings', and with that, so did she remember their own humble beginning. How could she forget? It had been the first time in years she had laughed this genuine, and as the memory came back, the corners of her lips twisted up as well. She could barely refrain herself from bursting into laughter, as her eyes twinkled, remembering the face he pulled when the chair took him down with it. A memory she was clearly fond of. One she was definitely not going to let him forget, either.

There was no doubt in her voice as she sealed her vows, gently pushing the ring onto his finger. Their humble beginning was a good start, it was a place where she knew trust would eventually be gained from both parties. It was a frightening idea, to trust on someone again, but Enya could see herself growing to learn to trust again if it was Delsin who stood by her side. His words warmed her heart, as her smile softened even more. One thing she was sure of, she had not felt this happy in a long time, this excited to know what the future would hold for her.

”Lord Delsin and Lady Enya, in the presence of Aster’s blessing, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may seal your vows with a kiss.” The priest spoke, and Enya stepped forward to close the distance between the two of them. Gently, she placed a hand on the side of his face, before leaning forward and pressing her lips against his in a soft and tender kiss. Husband and wife. As she pulled back, a smirk reached her lips. ”To a bright future together, my husband.” Those words felt strange and foreign on her tongue, but she was sure she would get used to them. It was him and her now. Together.

Don't risk it all for a taste, what a waste a waste
Delsin had heard those words in the past weeks. He did not have to be anything to Enya. When a political marriage happened, those two people could decide the distance between them for themselves, as long as they would meet certain expectations. This, however, was not the kind of future Delsin wanted. While his expectations were nothing unrealistic, he at least wanted to set his best foot forward; to give whatever this could be a chance. The dragon on his shoulder only made him believe that this was the right decision even more.

You may seal your vows with a kiss,’ the priest concluded. It was Enya who stepped forward first and his blue eyes tried to find a hint of doubt in hers, but when he realized it wasn’t there, his muscles relaxed. Their lips met and with that, the vow was made. When Enya pulled back again, Delsin could not help but smile at her as she spoke. “To a bright future, my Lady,” he winked amusedly, before his eyes found the priest again. After all, there was one more thing to do.

And with the promise you made to each other comes the promise made to your people,’ the priest said, revealing a bigger, sturdier ring. A purple stone was put into a thick, silver band. While the band was new, the stone had been passed from generation to generation. It felt strange to know that his father’s legacy, a man he had never met and yet who had gotten him to where he was today, would be passed on to him now. ‘Like your father before you and his father before, it is time to swear an Oath.’ Delsin showed one more smile to Enya, before he turned to face the priest.

Are you willing to take the Oath?’ he was asked. “I am,” Delsin confirmed shortly. ‘Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the Evergreen according to their respective laws and customs? Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgements?’ the man asked. “I will,” Delsin confirmed. ‘Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of the Gods and the true profession of our faith? Do you swear to be guided by Aster’s light as it shines before you?’ the man asked. “I promise.

Then you may follow in the path of your father and his father before him.’ The ring was handed to him. He put it on his other hand, now both rocking a new piece of jewellery, both a promise he needed to keep for the rest of his life. He turned back to Enya, a smile forming on his lips.

Together.

Once the vows were tied, she found herself smiling genuinely. A new start and a bright future. Perhaps that was what she needed, the one thing that had been missing for years. Enya never thought she could move on from all the hardship of her life, but standing here, she at least felt a little more hopeful in that matter. Maybe she could, one day, completely move on from all these troublesome thoughts and memories residing in her mind.

As she took a step back, to give Delsin some space, she quickly overlooked the crowd. There was one more thing to do, one more vow to take by her new husband. This was not just a marriage, no. This was their moment of becoming high lord and high lady, and so, her eyes found Loran in the crowd. Although he looked ill, she would still point him out as the wisest man in the crowd. And although the two of them might not always have agreed on matters, she hoped Delsin would get enough time to learn from his uncle. The woman could feel a slight sense of triumph as the thought of being able to enter the Vigneron library without having to ask permission from the Lord first - although this time it would no longer be as a scholar. There were far more important things to do for her now.

Her attention turned back to Delsin and the priest, returning a small nod to Delsin, she was here for him while he took the vows. To protect his people at all cost, to govern over the Evergreens according to their laws and customs, and to always keep the laws of the Gods in mind. He would do that, and she would be there to help him. Maybe even guide him towards the right options, in her eyes.

Once the ring was put on his other hand, her eyes shot up to meet Delsin’s again, as a smile formed across her lips as well. She reached out for his hand. ”Together.” She nodded, confirming his words. Together they would do this. It wasn’t going to be easy, but she was going to give it her best try.

She took all of her pain and from her own ashes became fire

A day of promises had begun. The two birds would promise their lives to each other, from this day until the last of their days. It was a day of new beginnings that would be celebrated all throughout the Evergreen. But before they could all get to that the binding had to be made. Before the break of dawn the Evergreen would have a new High Lord and Lady. And they just happened to be two of the people she cared most about. One she knew her entire life and one she had only known for a short time. Nevertheless, they both meant so much to her. Nothing would ever change that.

She felt herself slipping into a long train of thoughts right as the ceremony started. A soft nudge against her head from the dragon on her shoulder was enough to wake her up, to make her focus on what was important. Her gaze stopped on the couple that stood by the priest, hands tied to a ribbon that would connect them. She couldn't help but smile, knowing it was a perfect fit. Somehow she knew that it was a match made by the gods. As they took the torches and lit the bonfire Asriel let out a soft screech. The dragon was clearly content with the sudden appearance of fire. It soothed the creature. Although it could be argued that the dragon was just calm because she was too.

When the promises were made she looked aside to Rayan. A soft smile appeared on her face as she stepped a little closer to him. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" She asked him in a whisper. Her hand slowly found his and she rested her head on his shoulder. Soon it was their turn. Who knew what that faithful day would bring? But for now all she had to focus on was Delsin and Enya. They would lead the way. Her smile grew a little wider as they shared a kiss. She tried to blink away the tears forming in her eyes. But when Delsin made his vows to as a protector of the Evergreen they started flowing slowly. As soon as the newlyweds turned to the crowd she stood up straight. She started clapping and Asriel let out a loud screech to show his approval. All in favour of the new High Lord and his Lady.

He didn’t think it would be this hard, even when his heart settled under the happiness he saw around him. He felt completely out of place and yet again there was that smile as he watched his cousin. She seemed happy, happier than he probably ever saw her. The same came for his sister who stood aside her husband to be. Soon there wouldn’t be much of the Aldyr’s left. He would turn back home in a certain emptiness, without that kind of support he so much needed, now more than ever. But it didn’t matter how he felt in the end, as long as he could see them smile and be happy. And Enya did, even if that was with a man Faolan not even trusted yet.

Glaedr wasn’t around, Faolan left him in the safety of his room to avoid further attention. It was already enough that he was a crown prince and here to witness this beautiful moment. He looked shortly aside to Costia who stood beside him. They both knew this would be also their future. There would be a day they would share that same spot. The smile grew a little wider as the binding started. As they promised their lives to each other with a kiss. Everything in his face showed that proud as they all stood up and started clapping. Enya Vigneron, high lady of the Evergreen, what wasn’t to be proud of. The Aldyr’s were expanding their territory, it would be duty to support the Evergreen and it’s people, just as it was his to protect the Crownlands. He nodded in approval, feeling his heart break under the realization she wouldn’t be often “home” again. After all, she was almost a sister too. This was her home now, with a new family and a new piece of land. Which made him clap a little more intensive.
They either want to kiss you, kill you or be you.

He had arrived a little later than everyone else. Mostly because he didn't want people to stare, second because he didn't want to have a prominent place and leave as fast as he could. Kaz had been surprised to find an invitation in his hands, but apparently Delsin had found him worthy enough to join. The man grimaced at the guards as he entered the castle and quietly took his place in the back.

Apparently he hadn't missed that much as they were still exchanging their vows. Kaz placed his cane in front of him, letting both of his hands rest on the handle. His demeanor was, as usual, not very happy but it wasn't as bad as before. Instead, there was a hint of respect in his eyes. For one, Kaz hadn't expected for things to go this way. Delsin had been taken in by the family, even getting married after felt like only months and he fit right in. Apparently the thief had done something right. He watched in silence, feeling none of the happy and gleeful mood of the people around him. His eyes fell on the back of the heads of two people, one with a dragon that was different than Delsin's. Unfamiliar and apparently important. Interesting. He joined the applause, finding the wall behind him to support him for a bit. He hadn't taken in a single word of what the two of them had been saying, but somehow he felt a bit of pride in his chest. The thief smiled, even happily so, gave a nod to the newly wed couple and then turned around to make his exit once more.

As promised, Devon had travelled all the way to Wineport in order to attend Delsin’s wedding. Delsin’s wedding. It still sounded a little foreign to her, but it was happening. And she had promised to come, so here she was. She had closed up the inn for a few days, which definitely would cost her some income, but she figured it was possible this once. As she reached the capital of the Evergreen, however, she couldn’t help but feel a little out of place.

It got even worse at the festivities began and the ceremony neared. Lords, ladies, nobility from everywhere around Avalance had gathered here to watch the new High Lord get married. Devon stuck out like a sore thumb in her not-so-fancy dress and with her now painfully obvious pregnancy belly. She tried to not let her embarrassment show too much and could only hope she was succeeding. Her nerves were calmed when she actually attended the ceremony, however. Delsin was there, actually looking happy. Seeing him like that actually made her feel somewhat more at ease too. For a while, she was able to forget about the awkward stares and the hushes whispers. She took note of the Aldyrs sitting here. It seemed as if Delsin wasn’t the only one parading around a dragon. She wasn’t quite sure how to feel about it just yet, so she tried to focus on Delsin citing his vows to the woman that was going to be his wife from now on. Enya Aldyr. As the two were bound by marriage, Devon cracked a little bit of a smile. At least Division member had managed to make something of his life.
