While unusual, it is not impossible to change your alliance to a different House of Avalance. This means that you will no longer stand for them in war and, instead, might even be their opposition when it is time to fight. Reasons to change alliance include, but are not limited to, marriage, banishment or a quarrell with the Lord and/or Lady of the House you used to support.
