⠀Forged in Fire
A dutch/english medieval fantasy RPG
Welcome to Forged in Fire

Forged in Fire is a high fantasy role-playing game, which is set in a world where legends come alive. Dragons exist, magic is at the tip of your fingers and the lands are beautiful beyond imagination. Join us in a journey throughout Avalance. Create your character and allow yourself to be surprised by the many adventures that lie ahead. Where one moment your character might be on its way to finding love, he could encounter a dragon or a unicorn the next. Nothing is impossible in these lands.

Current Season

As winter arrives, the temperature lowers and the Highlands are covered in a blanket of snow, while the rest of Avalance deals with more rain and periods of wet snow.

Current Event

A Reign of Destruction

The people of Avalance wonder whether they have a new problem on their hands as the rain keeps crashing down from above. As if that wasn't enough, the King starts raising their taxes, taking from what little they have left.

Character Building

We all know those few characters that truly matter. A small list of them, who truly have made an impact. And sure, not every character is destined for something great. But that does not mean that they should feel one-dimensional. So, I’ve created a small list of questions that will help you formulate a strong, well-defined, but most of all: believable character. A character worth investing in. Before you even start with this list, try filling out the Character Playability Test. Did you pass it? Great! Now let’s continue.

Here’s a list of questions to answer for your Character:

  • What’s their darkest childhood memory?
  • What’s their fondest childhood memory?
  • What’s their biggest regret?
  • Has anyone ever let them down? If so, how has that affected them?
  • What’s their most frequent nightmare?
  • What’s their biggest fear?
  • What’s their current goal?
  • What odd habits or tick do they have?
  • Which parent do they take after most? What do they like and abhor most about this parent?
  • What’s their magic and how does it affect them?

If you feel like answering a bigger list of questions, this list might help: Question List. Of course, not every question will fit the current time, but most will be answerable. Feel free to use this list and post the answers down below, or just answer them for yourself.
