In Avalance you can experience random events to change up your thread. This means that the admin account might post an event in your thread for your characters to work with. If a random event really doesn't fit your thread/plot and you need it gone, feel free to contact the Admin, but try to have fun with it if you can. If you specifically want a random event in a thread, you can also request one by using the report button above your post. The admin account will look at your thread then and post an event. If you don't want any random events in your thread, please state this in the first post of your thread!

While most locations in Avalance are (relatively) safe, there are three locations where danger looms ahead. Because no one can predict what is about to happen, these locations have a higher chance of triggering a (dangerous) random event. This works a little different from the random events that can be requested or in other environments since these are a little riskier in nature.

What kind of encounters could these be? There are many different kinds of random events to be seen in our realms. Some include nature fighting back, others allow you to deal with beast or monster. In our dangerous areas, you will mostly find random events that will make your palms sweaty, while you try to save your character from an uncertain fate. Beware before posting in these dangerous areas, because you never know what will happen to your character.

In different locations, you might also find a different kind of random event. Avalance is a realm of many myths and legends, some of which are true. You might encounter a white stag, a unicorn or another magical beast on your journeys in Avalance. Just keep your eyes open...
